Permanent Supportive Housing
These are people like you and me. Many of them had a great life going, and through a series of unfortunate circumstances, found themselves homeless. These folks are ready to change, to have a better life and be successful. Our graduates re-enter the workforce, attend college and get reacquainted with their families after years of estrangement.
As part of the Tulsa Continuum of Care network, Volunteers of America Oklahoma Permanent Supportive Housing Program provides full case management to single, homeless individuals with physical disabilities or mental illness and allows them live in their own fully subsidized apartment. Offering more than a roof over their heads, our program emphasizes case management tailored to meet the needs resulting from the disability and to connect with available community resources. This program is available in Tulsa.
