The Payee Services program has been providing services to individuals with documented disabilities that receive Social Security, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and other government benefits since 1999.
The Social Security Administration (SSA) recognizes Volunteers of America Oklahoma as an Organizational Payee: providing assistance to the most vulnerable members of society. Serving individuals who are unable to manage their Social Security or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits: the young, the elderly, the homeless and the disabled. The SSA pays individuals through representative payees who receive and manage payments on behalf of the beneficiaries
Any individual 18 years and older who receives benefits from SSA is eligible for the program. Some participants are required by SSA to have a representative payee while others may choose to have a representative payee voluntarily. Volunteers of America Oklahoma Payee Services program is voluntarily, it is up to the individual to choose to use our services.
Participants will be assigned a financial case manager who will manage monthly bills and other financial responsibilities successfully.
Payee Services is available in Tulsa, Muskogee and Oklahoma City.
